    I'm so disappointed with this dryer. It doesn't have the sensing option like my old whirlpool dryer did. So when you pick a setting it goes that amount of time and shuts off.     We love our GE dryer, it dries our clothes in about half the time, if even that. It saves power and our clothes aren't scorched, they're just the right amount of dry. It looks modern, I love it.     It drys great, All of the drying settings are great. It looks great. Clothes come out almost wrinkle free. However, when delivered, it made a horrible knocking sound when spinning. Luckily it was under factory warranty. I had a real GE tech out the following week. He got the noise reduced by 70%. However, he had to order parts on back order to finish the job.     NEW EXCHANGE/REPLACEMENT

    Dryer installed by Appliance Store 6/2/22. It was making a high pitched noise. The repair tech showed up 6/21/22, knew what was wrong. Because the washer and dryer are stacked, he needed to return with a helper. I received a phone call 6/22/22 informing me it would be easier to just swap it out for another new dryer and make repairs to the original in their shop. 6/23/22 they swapped out the dryers, and now it sounds like a new dryer should - quiet.
