    I just got my new GE Profile™ 30" Smart Slide-In Front-Control Gas Fingerprint Resistant Range with No Preheat Air Fry installed today. I haven't had the chance to actually use it yet as it was installed an hour ago. This review is about how I came to select this product. I went with this stove because I hear that GE appliances are long-lasting, easy to service, easy to get parts when needed. I also selected this model because I very much like the design of this appliance in relation as it features most everything the more expensive stoves feature but for a lower price. I like the front panel knobs that aren't flush with the top which will prevent most spills and splatters to soil the knobs and panel. I like the size of the oven, the glass panel oven door, the 5 burners, the center grill option and the storage drawer. Originally posted on www.ge.com

    QUALITY - Very poor build quality. Missing, stripped, angled screws all over. Bent metal and mismatches. USEABILITY - Bought this range because ad didn't say anything about wifi, but if course it has it, and you must use it to get the air fryer to work. What??? Then spent three hours getting it online. Tech support was great! Walked me through restarting my router, phone and range to get it working, but all so unnecessary... DESIGN AND OPERATION - Good although the larger burner design allows spills to get down inside where they can't be cleaned.     Having the same issues after it was serviced

    I had my range installed 3/21 and then 4/21 the oven stopped working. The tech installed a touch board and new machine control/relay which solved this issue. Fast forward to 6/21/22 and now the oven stopped working. I really love this range and the tech support is great but I do have frustration with a sense of will it work when i am baking.     The stove heating element is consistent and even around the pan. When cooking French toast the results were amazing. The bread was evenly brown and crispy. The chicken was browned perfectly. Just started baking and the chocolate chip cookies, again were cooked evenly. That is a big one for me. The only drawback was that to use the Convection Oven, the unit had to be connected to WiFi. At first I was furious thinking that the unit had to be an ongoing connection and the sales people and others did not tell me or know #1 knew that in order to use that feature, it had to connect. #2 the connection could then be turned off and the feature remained.     The range is good looking and was on sale. It has many good features that we wanted, including air frying. We assumed standard ease of use, but found out that air frying required Wi-Fi setup instead of just a button. How silly! It's been a hassle and three weeks later, no air frying.     Used the oven the first day to bake cookies. My old oven took forever to preheat and even then was not at temperature. My new GE heated right up to where it was supposed to be. Like the double burner with a small simmer burner in the middle. Originally posted on www.ge.com

    I replaced a range that had an issue with lighting the oven. Since I bake a lot, I wanted something that was reliable. My house was designed for a slide in range; however, I had the regular range and so used it for 8 years. This one fits perfectly in my space and having the back open makes such a difference in appearance. My only negatives are if you don't download the app, it seems as if you cannot access many of the features, e.g., delay, air fryer. Also, the top is beautiful; however, because the burners are raised, you cannot use any sort of protection to keep it clean. Originally posted on www.ge.com

    We converted to gas and this range fit perfectly. So far the stovetop has been great and the oven heats up fast and cooks well. Only downside would be the small middle griddle but I don't think you can get much bigger with a 30" range. Originally posted on www.ge.com

    doesn't work right out of the box

    Gas valve and igniter has to be replaced straight out of the box. Very disappointed with this purchase. Still waiting on the parts. You would think a big name like GE would do better. Originally posted on www.ge.com

    I have cooked many things in the oven, but have not even used all the features it has yet. So far I am more than pleased with the way it cooks the recipes I've tried.     I love our new gas range by GE. Everything about it is absolutely perfect. The different burners for boiling, simmering, heating and the long one in the middle really makes it the best all around tool for cooking. I've been using it for 3 weeks and haven't even come close to utilizing its full potential.     This range is absolutely perfect for my use and space. It looks and functions perfectly. There has been a small learning curve going from an electric stove top to gas, probably wouldn't go back to electric. The oven heats up quickly and I absolutely love the built in air fryer. And maybe my favorite and most used thing is the provided cast iron skillet. It heats evenly and I use it for a variety of things. Another plus s it's very easy to keep clean.
