    I purchased my washer and dryer from Lowes on September 5th 2022. I also purchase an extended 5-year warranty. I recently started having problems with leaking from the front door and on the left side of the washer. I call customer service and explain the problem to them hoping that they would send a repairman out. Instead of sending a repairman out they emailed me instructions on how to fix the machine myself.     Washer Orwell but does a not drain properly. I have been draining about 2 gallons of water after every 3 loads. It is supposed to be drained only once a month. I had a service technician look at this and he said all was working correctly. Originally posted on lg.com

LG contracted with RXO Logistics to deliver the washer and dryer but they have no-showed for the appointment TWICE and keep giving me the runaround when I call.     Ordered the product online with an ETA confirmation for 9/13/24. On 9/13/24 called LG because of lack of delivery only to be initially diverted to the delivery contractor RXO who said they have no product at their warehouse and no ETA on delivery. Called LG back spoke to customer rep who identified himself as ICE who after 43 minutes of repeated holds and reassurance that the question is being escalated ended up with an answer that they have no ETA on the washer. He said to call back RXO on 9/17 to see if they can have any ETA at that time. I requested to have another washer sent expedited since they dont have an ETA on this one. I was told escalation team said its not possible because the product is shipped. I asked for a shipping date and got the reply today. I asked for a tracking number and I was told its not available. I told him that the website order status still shows processing and requested to speak directly to the escalation team that he has been speaking with. After another 10 minutes of hold I was told there is no one that I can talk to possibly meaning there was no escalation team to begin with and that he created a ticket number and would get a call back later because there is no one there. So after more than an hour and 10 minutes of repeated holds and escalation reassurances I was told that they have no idea when I will get the washer and I can cancel the order if I want.     After much frustration I think I have gotten the idea of this machines functions. A lot of the instructions are on a strip in Black witch is very hard on the eyes.     I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and courteous service I received when I requested a service call for my LG washer. The first technician actually fixed the problem. He then came back with a second technician to make sure the washer was not leaking and he had a part with him to fix the problem if there was still a leak.     After only 59 days my brand new washer leaked all over my laundry room floor After calling LG support and doing a quick over the phone diagnosis I was told that I have to run 5 sets of tub cleaner through it. And that a sample of the tub cleaner would be mailed out to me. I never did receive any sample of the tub cleaner only samples of downy and tide.. I purchased 2 boxes of the recommended tub cleaner 5 packs per box the following day. Each cycle of the tub clean option runs for 93 minutes. It was a full 8 hour day just to run 5 sets of the cleaning cycle. I had the washer that this LG replaced for 15 years before I ever had any leak.     LG are scam artists and will say anything to make a sale. I explained my current dryer/washer set up clearly to two different representatives and was told that the free installation would be no problem both times. Come to find out they wont install the washer nor reimburse me the costs of a third party installation. Dealing with the fiasco has been a nightmare with LG. Poor communication wont resolve the issue. They dont care that I was told by two different people something that didnt apparently follow their policy.     Ive had this product for 3.5 years just outside the warranty and its now leaking from the bottom front where the tube drain is located. Machine is undamaged. I opened the little door to ensure the tube stopper was tightly sealed and clean and I drain it every 6 months or so. Im very disappointed. Originally posted on lg.com

    Our new washer is working out great good low water usage and soap usage and very quiet . My only disappointment was when I tried to register my new washer via your online web site the site could not recognize my serial number After several tries I called customer service. Customer service could not recognize the serial number and wanted photos I felt this was very time consuming and representative was not helpful I called store where I purchased washer and never received a call back needless to say Im disappointed with follow up and a little worried about assistance if a break down happens thank god I have a very good appliance repair man locally if you have a better way for me to register contact me Originally posted on lg.com

    Replaced my previous washer with another front load washer. I am short and 14 years ago I bought my first front loader and never had to struggle to get to the bottom of the washer.     missing favorite function

    I purchased this about a month ago to replace an older model. What I dont like is the function for adding more water to wash has been eliminated. I now must do smaller loads with the tiniest amount of detergent and add more rinses. Even with that the laundry does not seem as clean.     This washer has been giving us headaches from the start. Where to start: - It clogs up easily and it isnt easy to unclog without getting dirty water everywhere. - Many times a 40 minute cycle will take 2 hours or more because it has a difficult time trying to find the correct balance for spin. - A couple times it was so unbalanced that it rocked its way very loudly and almost off the platform it was on Very Dangerous - Finally but definitely not the least after only 4 years of use the ball bearings went out on it. It sounded like a jet engine in our whole house when it was on the spin cycle. It was no longer in Warranty so Id have to pay for parts an labor. The kicker? The part to fix it costs $840 That does not include labor and other parts needed. If I were to buy this unit brand new right now it would be $699. Why is the part more than the whole unit? I will never buy LG again. - It does not distribute the bleach evenly when doing whites. Originally posted on lg.com
