    Highly recommended machine based on ratings. Door gasket has deteriorated in 5 months and the service company says it is not covered in warranty. Washing machine is not usable. Called Costco for service and waited for LG to call back. They took my number down incorrectly and never called although all other information was correct. Could have coordinated better and cross referenced. Service was not scheduled. Had to call a second time. Service to replace gasket is now at about 4 weeks. Have not heard from service company since initial visit 2 weeks ago. Service company wanted me to disassemble stacked units so when he came back he could repair.     We loved our LG washer that we purchased from Howards Appliances in June. But after about 3 weeks the glass on the inside of the door shattered. Getting LG to replace the washer was a nightmare. We finally had to go through Howards to have the unit replaced. No help from LG We have a lot of LG products in our home and you would have thought that LG would jump through hoops to keep us happy.     Stopped working 3 times in less than 1 year

    Our machine is less than 1 year old of use and we have had someone come out twice to fix issues with the dial and the function of the washer. It is out of warranty because we purchased it a few months before we were able to install so were having issues a third time and we will now have to pay since it is out of warranty.     I recently incorporated the LG WM6500HBA into my laundry routine and it has truly transformed the way I approach laundry. The AI technology provides precise and efficient drying by sensing moisture levels and adjusting the drying time accordingly. This has not only saved me time but also ensured that my clothes are consistently dried to perfection without any concerns of over-drying. Additionally the TurboSteam feature has been incredibly effective in refreshing clothes and removing wrinkles allowing for a quick touch-up without the need for ironing. This feature has been a lifesaver when Im in a rush and need my outfit to look its best. The smart capabilities of this dryer have seamlessly integrated into my daily life. Being able to monitor and control the dryer remotely through the LG ThinQ app has added a new level of convenience to my laundry routine. However I believe that customer support needs improvement and the parts shipped during installation should be sturdier like stainless steel pipes. Moreover it would be beneficial if the 4 prong outlet were included in the cost as it is not clear from the installation/delivery instructions what all is included at the time of delivery. Overall the LG WM6500HBA dryer has significantly improved my laundry experience and with some enhancements in customer support and installation process it could provide an even better user experience.     LG Bad Seal - Repair Refused

    Purchased to stack units and install in tight location. Built cupboards around unit. First month seal leaks water on the floor. Warranty repair guy came out to fix. Refuses to work on washer until dryer is removed. We purchased a stackable unit paid for professional install by BestBuy. It doesnt make sense to refuse repair. Terrible product leaks.     I been using this dryer for about 2 weeks and its absolutely amazing Yes it does take longer to dry clothes and that has been a very minor adjustment for us but it has allowed us to configure our laundry room to how we wanted by staking out equipment. Super quiet and our room doesnt feel like a sauna after a load or two. Im a stickler for maintenance with anything I own so by this dryer needing to be maintained a little different and more often isnt an issues for me either. I hope the electronics and mechanical mechanisms last a long while for the life and use of the machine. I hope if machine does need repair it will not be a hassle to get machine serviced and it can get fixed right away because machine is essential to have working all the time.     Machine seems fine. Only used it five times so far. Good looking unit. Not five stars because the installation instructions were awful. Im an electrical. I install everything in my house myself. I dont trust Home Depot installers. The washer was sitting on top of a LG pedestal washer. None of the mounting holes lined up with the hardware LG supplied. I called LG for advice and their response was We cant give you information about installing your new LG products . How lame.     Wow It took me a few months to research and decide which brand and model of washer dryer to buy. I went back and forth to change to a top load or keep with an LG front load. I decided on this LG front load washer dryer set from Costco. Now that Im using it for the past few weeks Im not sure why I waited so long. I love this washer I mainly use the quick cycle with cold medium spin and medium dirty depending on the load. I have used a few other cycles for towels bedding and delicates. My son slid home at a baseball game into wet muddy wet black turf with white jersey pants. I used Oxyclean to scrub them and then washed with Kirkland detergent and they both came very clean I do leave the drawer open and I wipe out the rubber seal after each wash. I have it set up to my phone and it alerts me when the cycle is finished. There is so much more this machine and technology can do which I will learn over time.     Love this machine. It has 5 sprayer jets that inject water/soap onto the clothes. The rinse cycle is great. The machine drains the water completely and uses fresh water up to 3 times during a cycle. It will rinse up to 3 times which is great for heavier items like jeans and towels. If you remember at the last minute your favorite outfit needs washed there is a quick wash cycle that is 18 mins long. I have notice our water bill has gone down by 1 cubic foot of water. And the machine is very quiet. You do need a pedestal for the machine because it sits so low. It spins clothes so incredible dry with 1300 rpm. Jeans take 25 mins to dry. Originally posted on lg.com

    Return customer after 15 yrs. This new once is actually a replacement for the one we picked up. We requested replacement since after unboxing there was damage to the front in that there was a dent. So we quickly returned and received replacement same day.     I doubt I will be receiving any money for this review. I bought the washer and dryer set from Costco in June. This is the worst wash machine I have ever had. I wanted a bigger washing machine so that I could wash things like dog beds. This machine although bigger handles it worse than my old machine. You have to do a tub clean all the time or the machine will leak. Again never had to do this before. It becomes unbalanced very often. And until I found the trick on how to do a spin only cycle. Because it does not appear on the Dial you have to find it by going on YouTube I didnt know how to get the water out of the bottom of the machine.     We bought this item along with a washer and dryer combo before Thanksgiving with installation service from lg.com. The local installation team delayed the installation for a day and showed up 6 hours later than the scheduled time without notification. They left this machine an error code and told us they would fix it the next week. Our nightmare started. The washer sit there for two months with the error code. We spent hours to contact the installation company as well as the lg.com. The local team didnt want to work with us. They mentioned it missed some parts but they cant get them. The lg.com escalated our case to the highest level as they told us. We received a text message that the contact person went to vacation for a week. After a week the case was closed with no solution. Another funny thing is we have never signed the completion form but it showed the status as completed at lg.com.     I bought LG washer and dryer set from lowes end of November 2023. LG Washer isnt working so I called electrician before return to lowes in 48 hours. Electrician came and on same gfci he run 2 high waltage hair dryer gfci not turning off. So called Lowes send me replacement but same problem with second LG washer. Its turning off gfci switch so called different electrician. In same plug he use his high voltage drill and everything working fine. He told me something wrong with LG machine. So I didnt send back to lowes I called LG customer service. LG couldnt figure out why is tripping gfci. After almost month LG think something wrong with gfci switch so again I called electrician 3rd time he use his high voltage drill and vacuum on same gfci plug everything worked. Only LG washer isnt working with gfci plug. So again I called LG but they didnt return my money or figure out problem with LG washer machine. I will not give even one star to This LG washer machine.     Lackluster Customer Support

    I would like to review this product but it hasnt been delivered yet. LG sent me an email with a link asking for a review so here we go. Ordered from LG.com on November 25 during Black Friday sales event with a December 7 in-home delivery and installation. Current expected delivery is January 11. I didnt get proactive communication from LG or their delivery partner so I reached out on December 7 for a status inquiry. All LG could tell me was that I needed to call the delivery agent. Tried the delivery agent multiple times and got no answer. 9 days later FINALLY talked to someone at the delivery agent and was advised that the order didnt arrive with them until December 13 but they are so swamped the earliest they can get it to me is January 11. Three follow-up calls to LG Customer Support results in little sympathy and no path to resolution other than wait for the order to be delivered. I have suggested three possible outcomes to LG and have not received any direction from them in the past three days other than to wait...one of the suggested outcomes by me was a cancelled order and a complete refund. I can buy from a competitor that has same day or next-day delivery. Originally posted on lg.com
