My favorite feature in the ice machine that has cubed an mini ice. My wife likes how you can set different settings in the drawers for best results with certain fruits and vegetables. Two things attracted us to this refrigerator. The first was the freezer on the bottom. We had a side by side for many years but the freezer always felt small. This freezer seem wide and spacious. The second was the water pitcher. I thought it would be nice to just reach in and grab an already full pitcher of cold water vs waiting on built in water to fill a cup. What I didn't know I would love so much was the two different types of ice that the ice machines make! Regular sized and small sized ice cubes! GENIUS! This is a great fridge with great features. initially, the unit functioned well. after several months, the ice maker began freezing over and we had to shut the unit down completely to defrost the ice maker. after this occurred several times, we just turned the icemaker off. two months ago, the freezer began not cooling to below 20 degrees. then the refrigerator section began not cooling. a call to samsung customer service gave us a referral to a samsung approved appliance repair company. on review of the company we found they are very poorly rated and found a different repair company to look at the unit. the compressor is bad and the sealed system is bad. this is very disappointing , the unit is only three years old and was quite expensive. i would not recommend this brand if asked. we plan on replacing with a different brand. I am in love with our new Samsung 23 cu. ft. Smart Counter Depth 4-Door Flex refrigerator! It has four doors, actually five. It has a door within a door, one of which is the beverage center. It has an auto fill water pitcher that you can infuse flavors into the water and a separate water fill location. It also has a storage self for your favorite items. The freezer has dual ice makers with two types of ice. Samsung has provided an ice scoop but I find scooping the ice is a little cumbersome compared to having the ice dispensed. The bottom right-side door/compartment is a flex zone that can be used as a freezer or refrigerator which is a great feature, I love it! Both top doors open outward for easy access to the main selves and crispers. The refrigerator has a built-in deodorizing filter with UV Deodorizing technology to keep the air inside fresh. The controls are smartly located inside on the top right-side wall of the refrigerator with easy to read and understand terminology. Refrigerator can be controlled manually or with Samsung's Smarthings app on your Samsung phone. We purchased this refridgerator becasue we were looking for the largest counter depth fridge we could find. This fridge has more room inside than most counter depth, plus the chrome and glass interior make it look nicer than most. We love the hidden beverage center and ice choices. I did not give it 5 stars because the upper left door will not stay open. It is being serviced in a few days, so we hope this problem will be resolved. We purchased this counterdepth fridge in June. So far so good. We like the french doors and did add some drawers as it does not have a cold cut drawer. The ice maker is in the freezer where it should be and it makes plenty of ice. We had another brand that had the icemaker in fridge door and it never worked. We have only used the flex side as freezer as we are a small family and don't need too much fridge space. I do find myself wiping the doors frequently as it does it a bit smudgy. This Samsung refrigerator does many things well. Top of the list are the dual ice makers that function much like a dedicated ice machine. Depositing large and mini cubes into bins for retrieval with the supplied ice scoop. This is so much better than the in-door ice dispensers that were a constant maintenance issue on other refrigerators. Having filtered water on tap and a ready pitcher of cold water is very handy. The pitcher's flavor infuser is an added bonus. Space inside is well laid out and adjustable to accommodate various size items. The stainless doors look high end are easy to clean. we were really excited by the nice modern design, great flexibility of cooling areas and a lot of other features this fridge offers. the fridge is quieter than expected, looks very pleasing. on closer inspection it's a combination of materials of different qualities. smartthings connection worked like a charm. expected to be able to control more - e.g. notify me when the door is open longer or if the desired temperature can't be kept... the scheduling of delivery experience was not great, i would not consider ordering directly from samsung again. sadly many of the door shelves just don't fit properly, not sure why. the door swing can't be adjusted and requires a large clearance on each side, more than esthetically pleasing. so all and all - mixed bag. This 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Beverage Center and Dual Ice Maker really has it all. Having four smooth stainless steel doors with no handles or anything breaking the surface immediately takes the look of the kitchen up a notch. But of course, the look alone would be worthless without the right functionality which is where this thing really shines. The Beverage Center - this is really a game changer. Having a water dispenser that doesn't drip at all so far but even if it did wouldn't result in ugly visible water stains because it's hidden behind a secret door is brilliant. Plus a water pitcher that is always full of cold filtered water is next level. For large pours, you just use the pitcher. And the pitcher has the flavor basket if you want to make it into tea or flavored water. It's awesome! The Dual Ice Maker - this really was a huge selling point for us. We've all had the experience of putting your glass against the ice dispenser and waiting as the ice slowly fell out into your glass. Not with this set up. Your ice box is always full and you just scoop and go. And you get two sizes of ice - regular and nugget size - and both are much better shaped for drinking than traditional ice dispenser ice. The Flex Zone - For those who don't need a lot of freezer space, like us, this is a game changer. Now we can use that bottom right section as our permanent beverage center instead of a freezer. But what's great is if later we need the freezer space, we can just make it a freezer. I love this concept - having the ability to customize your refrigerator to meet your needs is great! After connecting the fridge to our wife and the Smart Things app, I can fully control the fridge from my phone. But the best part is if someone accidentally leaves the door open, I get a notification on my phone right awayl! I also like that it comes equipped with a UV Deodorizer and the lighting in all compartments is excellent. The shelves on the bottom two sections all pull out so you don't have to get down on your hands and knees and try to reach something in the back. We've been very pleased with this refrigerator from Samsung. Even with the counter-depth size, we have plenty of room for us with the 23 Cubit Feet of space. The design is awesome. A great addition to my new kitchen

When I started renovating my house I needed to start picking out appliances for my kitchen. I decided to go with the 23 cu. ft. Smart Counter Depth 4-Door Flex™ Refrigerator with Beverage Center & Dual Ice Maker in Stainless steel and I am so happy I did. I love that this refrigerator has so much room for all of our items. I also love that Beverage Center provides quick access to refreshingly cool, filtered water two ways. You can either choose from an internal dispenser or a built-in pitcher that automatically refills, with the option to infuse with a flavor. I also love that there are five adjustable settings. That means I can store things at separate temperatures to optimize their shelf life. I also love the modern look of the refrigerator as well. Another great feature is that if I ever accidently leave the refrigerator door open the 2 minute door alarm goes off and I can close my door right away. I also love t he LED lighting in the refrigerator and the foldable slide in shelf because it allows me to change the shelves to fit my needs.
