    Problem with the gas oven. Replacing some sort of regulator. In Bake mode temperature does not go up and we smell gas. Hopefully once it's repaired we will love it. Would not recommend at this time. Originally posted on www.ge.com

The first thing I noticed was how well insulated this stove was over its predecessor. The kitchen doesn't heat up like we use to experience. Clean up below the grates is easy.     We have had the gas range for about 4 months. We do less of baking but have used a bit of the conventional oven and we loved it. The drawer is sturdy and the panel works with a light touch. What we liked about it is that it had the right balance of simple use features along with features that we were looking for - conventional oven, stream cleaning.     Salesman very happy about the product. GE is a quality, long-standing name. This is the first stove I ever actually purchased brand new. I was used to a much larger unit that had more range space for my larger pans. This unit did not reach the temperature I set it to for after I got it, but the service people can adjust that for you, so call right away if that happens. It works great.     I love our new oven. The griddle feature is one of the best parts, and evenly cooks pancakes, bacon, and eggs for breakfast. Have not yet tried the air fryer feature, and I do wish it came with the frying basket accessory but it does not affect my review here. I am very happy how much I am able to cook now.     We are in our 70's and have had many stoves in our lifetime-good, bad and ugly. However, this stove is our favorite one ever! First of all, it was priced right. I have been amazed at how easy it is to keep clean-even the grates. The burners are sealed tightly, so food does not collect near them. Spills on the stove top wipe away quickly and it shines! We love having the newer oven features of convection and air fry; they open up a whole new world of cooking! Finally, the oven is easy to keep clean with steam and traditional oven methods.     Love the grates that cover the entire top and sides, including the griddle. Haven't used the griddle but looking forward to making pancakes! The oven heats up to temperature quickly and love the soft beep that all of the features make. The oven cooked well on all temperatures EXCEPT the Air fryer setting. Doesn't work for us. Also the Steam Clean setting didn't work and left all the water used plus any dirty spots remained. Will try it again but don't know what I am doing wrong.
