    We purchased this stve because our Amana range began to suffer breakdowns: first, the oven wouldn't light, so I purchased a replacement electronic igniter and it worked fine for about a month when the temperatures began to fluctuate. The cost of repair was almost equal to the price we had paid so it was time to buy another stove. This stove is great! Heats up quickly and thoroughly.     I have always had great products from GE. This stove is to replace an older ge that was working great but we wanted a newer model and liked that the stove top grill was a two piece instead of 4 smaller pieces.     Was easy to start using even without instructions. Love how it communicates when it's pre-heated and offers a timer I can use for all kinds of kitchen tasks. Well-designed timer so it's persistent but not annoying or terrifying. Wish it came with a broiler tray and could have done without the burn-in process which took a couple of nasty sessions, but what I read online suggests both of these are standard issues with new stoves nowadays.     No nonsense oven!

    This was our very first brand new appliance purchase; and it was put through the ringer right away with two days of pie baking and cooking our Thanksgiving turkey! It performed as it should with no issues! I just hope we get 15-20 years of trouble free use out of it! My wife loves the 2 piece mildly textured grates that allow you to cover the entire range surface. Pans do not wobble or slide off burners like the old oven with 4 individual grates! If I had to find something to gripe about it would be the overly bright electronic time display. It could be toned down a bit! It's making the toaster a bit nervous! Originally posted on www.ge.com

    The stove and oven both works well and would've gotten a 5 star review from me, but the stove top grill is scratched up and I've only had the stove for one week and the top grills look like I had the stove for years. The stove top grills are not durable and can easily scratch even with care. Also when the stove was delivered to me it came dented and had to send it back for another one and it came a week later.
